FOX Sports’ Skip Bayless was stunned that Dillon Brooks of the Memphis Grizzlies was ejected following his hit on Gary Payton II of the Golden State Warriors in Game 2.

Game 1 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies was highlighted by the ejection of Draymond Green, which caused a debate on Twitter. Sure enough, there was another ejection that highlighted Game 2.

In the first half, Gary Payton II of the Warriors attempted a layup, but was struck in the head by the arm of Dillon Brooks. Referees issued a flagrant 2 foul on Brooks, resulting in his ejection.

One individual who was not happy about the call was Fox Sports’ Skip Bayless, who made some shocking allegations through numerous tweets.

Skip Bayless believes refs gifted series to Warriors following Dillon Brooks ejection

From calling the flagrant 2 on Brooks a makeup call for the Green ejection in Game 1, to accusing the referees of ensuring the Warriors advance to the Western Conference Finals to take on the Phoenix Suns, Bayless was not happy.

While Brooks was ejected, Payton suffered a left elbow injury as a result of the contact. Payton was ruled out for the remainder of the game shortly thereafter.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said during an interview with TNT that the play by Brooks “wasn’t physical” and called it “dirty.”

Skip responded to Kerr saying the play by Brooks was dirty by calling the Warriors “soft.”

Despite Bayless claims of the referees helping out the Warriors, the Grizzlies entered the locker room with a 56-51 halftime lead.
