The Cleveland Browns have put together the most impressive offseason in the NFL this year. As a result, they figure to be one of the top teams in the AFC. That means there are going to be some big expectations for them.
The Browns are undoubtedly expected to be a playoff team in the 2022 season; anything less would be a disappointment. But in order to get there, they are going to have to win some tough regular season games first. With the 2022 NFL schedule drop right around the corner, here are five must-win games for the Browns.
Cleveland Browns must-win game No. 5: New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints had a tough offseason, as they had to shed a ton of cap space. They also have some massive question marks on their roster in guys like Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas. Nobody knows whether they are to be active when the season starts, or how they good will be when they return, particularly in Thomas’ case.
Even with all the question marks, the Saints are always a tough team to beat, and this immediately stands out as a potential trip game on the Browns schedule. If Cleveland isn’t careful, they could end up losing some ground in what is going to be an extremely competitive AFC North division against an opponent they are better than.
