The Dallas Cowboys are hoping to break through the NFC and reach the Super Bowl this season, making these five games must-wins for America’s Team.

Expectations are high once again for the Dallas Cowboys as they seek a return to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1996. The Cowboys’ path out of the NFC got easier when Tom Brady retired in February, which is a help since they have to play the Buccaneers as one of their opponents for the 2022 season.

With the AFC South and NFC North on the schedule, Dallas has a clear path towards securing home-field throughout the playoffs and cementing themselves as a Super Bowl favorite. In order to make that dream a reality, the Cowboys will have to win these five games in order to fulfill their goals.

5. Must-win games for the Dallas Cowboys – At Tennessee Titans

The toughest AFC South opponent that the Cowboys will have to face this season is Tennessee, which is slated to host Dallas. The Titans are fresh off a year where they were the AFC’s No. 1 seed before losing in the Divisional Round to the Cincinnati Bengals, a result that was surely disappointing for them.

Going to Nashville isn’t going to be easy for the Cowboys, who will have to find a way to slow down the NFL’s toughest running back in Derrick Henry. Ryan Tannehill is also an efficient passer with excellent weapons on the outside, giving the Titans the ability to go score-for-score with Dallas’ elite offense.

Good teams find ways to win on the road against strong competition in the NFL. Even though a loss to Tennessee wouldn’t really hurt the Cowboys in a tiebreaker scenario it would still be a lot better to win the game.
