The first team that is a must-win matchup for the Denver Broncos is the Kansas City Chiefs. If they could just split the games, it could give Denver enough confidence to push forward.

However, Kansas City has a 13-game winning streak against the Broncos, so it’s hard to put this matchup on this list, but it is genuinely a must-win situation if the Broncos want to improve.

The Chiefs have a hold over the Broncos and the division, but if they want to finish better than last, getting at least a win at home against Patrick Mahomes would be something to get excited about because of its progress.

Mahomes is perfect against the Broncos and has that confidence when he plays them, so it would be awesome to get knocked down a few notches.

If the Broncos could find a way to slow down Kansas City’s offense, it would be a big help because that offense is so lethal. However, they don’t need to emphasize that because a team can get beat on any given day.

Russel Wilson can make plays, too, and if he can get the protection he needs, then this will be a better game than it has been in recent years.
