Arch Manning is one of the most coveted college football recruits in recent memory but one Alabama football fan doesn’t want him on the Crimson Tide.

Once in a blue moon, there’s a college football recruit that captures the attention of every fanbase in America, specifically the high-level programs that, more often than not, are all vying to land the young player. So given the family lineage of Arch Manning, it’s of no surprise that the nephew of Peyton and Eli falls into that category for 2023.

Depending on the week, you might hear that Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Ole Miss or some others are heavily in the mix for him. But in the case of Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide, at least one fan of the program doesn’t want Manning to head to Tuscaloosa.

And you guessed it — it’s for an extremely dumb and nonsensical reason that would only ever be found on a message board.

Alabama fan doesn’t want Arch Manning and his ‘foo-foo drama’ on Crimson Tide

The fan in question would prefer that Manning didn’t sign with Bama because of the “foo-foo drama” that comes with the family, saying that it could negatively affect the locker room chemistry and the program before questioning the young quarterback’s “intangibles”:

There are two ways you can look at this. Door No. 1 has the option that this fan believes that the Crimson Tide aren’t going to be able to land Arch Manning and is doing his damnedest to justify that being a good thing for the team.

Behind Door No. 2, we have the option that this fan has galaxy-brained themselves into a pretzel to the point that they are no longer making sense. Of course you want Arch Manning. Of course you take any “drama” that might come with it. He’s that good.

Regardless, we can only sit back and marvel in wonderment at what the offseason and recruiting can do to the mind of college football fans.
