The FOX Sports: MLB Twitter account threw some shade towards soccer players when sharing a clip from the May 28 Atlanta Braves-Miami Marlins game.

MLB had 17 games on the schedule on May 28, but there was one huge sports event that took place on the same day. It was the UEFA Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool. Real Madrid won that match 1-0.

The FOX Sports: MLB Twitter account decided to throw some shade with a tweet that read “soccer players be like,” and included a clip of Miami Marlins infielder Willians Astudillo reacting to getting bumped by Atlanta Braves star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr.

That social media account chose violence today.

Real Madrid won their 14th European Cup and have won their past eight Champions League Final appearances. They need just one goal to do so, and that came courtesy of Vinicius Jr. in the 59th minute of the match.

Regarding the Miami-Atlanta game, the Marlins picked up the 4-1 victory. Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara threw eight complete innings, striking out 14 batters and allowing just one earned run on four hits.
