There are 13 matches scheduled for the card. “Hangman” Adam Page defends his AEW World Championship against CM Punk. Serena Deeb challenges Thunder Rosa for the Women’s World Championship. CM Punk wins AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing

In the main event of Double or Nothing, CM Punk challenged “Hangman” Adam Page for the AEW World Champions. It was a bak-and-forth match, with both competitors stealing each other’s finishing moves, but it was not enough.

Page became frustrated at the end of the match and was tempted to hit Punk with the title when the referee was knocked down. He ultimately decided against it, but that wasted time cost him. Punk blocked a Buckshot Lariat attempt and hit the Go to Sleep to get the three count and win the World Championship.
