Texas football stars sign dream gamer NIL deal with Fortnite

Quinn Ewers and Xavier Worthy will help bring Texas football back with the help of Fortnite.
Texas football players Quinn Ewers and Xavier Worthy have teamed up with Fornite in an NIL deal.
Ewers has yet to play a game for the Longhorns, but everything is bigger in Texas, especially with Fortnite. As Hank Hill blows a gasket over in Arlen about a dang vidya game, Ewers and Worthy are surely worthy of this opportunity to promote the popular video game series. Athletes play a ton of video games in their downtime, so big players from big-time brands partnering up is no surprise.
Here is the clip Ewers tweeted out from Wednesday afternoon about working him with Fortnite.

No doubt about it, this is a big year for Texas. It is Steve Sarkisian’s second season in Austin. After failing to reach a bowl game in his first year on the job, all the pressure is on him to turn this thing around before Texas levels up and joins the SEC. Ewers was a former five-star quarterback who reclassified out of high school a year early to go to Ohio State. Now, he is back in his home state.
Ewers will battle incumbent Hudson Card for playing time this season. Texas is also very much in the midst of the Arch Manning sweepstakes. As long as Ewers and Worthy can develop a great rapport, not just on the flat screen, but on the football field, Texas has a chance to be back in more than just the Metaverse. In the meantime, let’s let college kids be well-compensated college kids.
Everything is bigger in Texas and it just means more in the SEC, so this was bound to happen.
