Klay Thompson revealed that he watches “Game 6 Klay” highlights when he is in the midst of a shooting slump.

After dropping Game 1 of the 2022 NBA Finals to the Boston Celtics, the Golden State Warriors split the series with a 107-88 victory on Sunday, June 5. While it is just two games into the series, it is a pivotal portion of the playoffs, and players’ performances are placed under the microscope. Through two games, that player is Klay Thompson, who is in the midst of a shooting slump.

On Monday, June 8, Thompson revealed that he actually watches highlight reels of his past performances when he is in a slump. In fact, Thompson said he searches “Game 6 Klay” on YouTube!

Hey, watching “Game 6 Klay” highlights is a solid choice because Thompson’s performances in those playoff performances are as clutch and dominant as you will ever see. In Game 6s, Thompson averages 20.7 points per game, per StatMuse.

Through the first two games of the Finals, Thompson struggled to make his shots. But none more so than in Game 2.

In the first game against Boston, Thompson had a respectable performance, as he made 6-of-14 of his field goal attempts and 3-of-7 of his attempts behind the three-point line.

But in Game 2 was where Thompson really struggled, as he shot 4-for-19 from the field and 1-for-8 behind the arc. Luckily, that was not a hindrance for Golden State, thanks in part to a 29-point performance by Steph Curry and Jordan Poole dropping 17 points off the bench.

Thompson has the chance to put a bad Game 2 behind him by bouncing back in Game 3 on Wednesday, June 8.
