When the Warriors bottomed out two years ago, plenty of fans were relishing in the assumed demise of the once-proud franchise. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson kept the receipts.

The Warriors wrapped up their fourth title of the Steph Curry era on Thursday night, defeating the Boston Celtics 103-90 in Game 6. Curry finished with 34 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists on 12-of-21 shooting and the celebration begun well before the final buzzer.

Going from 15-50 record just two seasons ago to adding another title is a huge swing for Curry and the Warriors and they have plenty of reasons to be celebrating. For now, a lot of that celebration appears to be pointed at media and fans who doubted them along the way.

What did Klay Thompson and Steph Curry have to say after winning the NBA Championship?

Klay Thompson talked about getting ready to have some fun with the Memphis Grizzlies, who pushed the Warriors to six games in the second round.

And of course, Curry had some fun with the Boston restaurant that trolled his wife Ayesha’s cooking skills and then doubled-down after their first sign went viral.

Curry had already responded this kerfuffle after Game 5, letting fans know just how much he loves this stuff.

"“I’m the petty king, so I know all about everything and I use it as entertainment and just have fun with it, because the more you’re on the stage, the more you realize the attention that is on you, how much it means to each fan base, how much it means to the cities. So, you can’t really be surprised by anything.”"

The Warriors met every challenge and won their fourth championship in eight seasons. History is the only thing for them to be measured against right now and they have every right to spend some time relishing in some clap backs.
