Vanessa Bryant honors Kobe Bryant on Fathers Day.

Vanessa Bryant, the widow of Kobe Bryant, has shared a Father’s Day message to her late husband, two years after his death.

“Happy Father’s Day, baby. @kobebryant #BestGirlDad,” she wrote in the caption of a photo of herself and Kobe, who was wearing a dad shirt.

Kobe and their daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash in 2020 and she has been honoring both of their legacies ever since.

Just this week she visited a mural painted in their honor in Philadelphia while wearing Kobe’s letterman jacket.

“PHILADELPHIA where my husband’s love for basketball all began,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Today, in the historic Tustin Playground and thanks to the generous contributions of donors, fans, and friends, our foundation @mambamambacitasports opened 2 more @dream_courts with @nlcharities, which were beautifully surrounded by the artwork of @Art_by_Ernel. I chose this location so that young people in this community may have a safe space to play with equal opportunity which was important to Kobe and Gianna. We are grateful to the City of Philadelphia, @muralarts for welcoming this project and helping to make it a reality.”
