Fan brawls with security during main event of AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door
By Scott Rogust
A fan brawling with security interrupted the main event of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling hosted their dual pay-per-view event, Forbidden Door, on Sunday, June 26 at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. The show featured plenty of solid matches, such as Claudio Castagnoli taking on Zack Sabre Jr. and Will Ospreay defending his IWGP United States Championship against Orange Cassidy. But the main event of the card was Jon Moxley facing Hiroshi Tanahashi to crown the interim AEW World Champion.
As the main event commenced, the viewing audience saw the fans in attendance focus their attention in the stands. It turns out there was an incident taking place which saw a fan get escorted out of his seat and up the stairs to the exits. That was when the fan managed to throw punches towards a guard, who responded in kind.
The fan was eventually escorted out of the arena. You can check out the incident in the video below.
