Yankees troll booing Guardians fans with fake Aaron Judge, Anthony Rizzo
By Scott Rogust
“Aaron Judge” and “Anthony Rizzo” decided to slide headfirst onto the tarp, as the New York Yankees-Cleveland Guardians game was postponed due to rain.
The last time the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians met in a series, fans at Yankee Stadium threw garbage at the opposing outfielders. The teams were set to begin their three-game series on July 1, but the game was postponed due to rain.
As it rained however, “Aaron Judge” and “Anthony Rizzo” decided to entertain the fans at Progressive Field by sliding headfirst onto the rain-filled tarp.

Yankees fans in attendance had to be nervous seeing the No. 99 and 48 uniforms slide headfirst in the rain. But, it was just two individuals wearing Judge’s and Rizzo’s uniforms to fake out everyone.
The Yankees have the best record in the American League, and are looking to continue to build on their lead in the East division, especially with the Red Sox having a huge month of June. They did split a four-game series against the Houston Astros and swept the Oakland Athletics this past week.
Meanwhile, the Guardians are coming off a series win over the Minnesota Twins, taking three-of-four games.
The Yankees and Guardians will play in a doubleheader on Saturday, July 2 to make up for the postponed game on July 1.
