1. Juan Soto trade destination: Los Angeles Dodgers

Another franchise that is no stranger to making power moves for top-tier talent, you have to think that the Los Angeles Dodgers will be another team that is ready to load up their wagon and show the Nats what they have to offer for the latest superstar to go onto the trade market.

Mookie Betts obviously isn’t going anywhere as the current everyday right fielder for the Dodgers but he has positional versatility in the outfield that would allow them to move Soto to that position if they made such a move.

The more obvious reason for this move in LA, though, would be the fact that they have been searching for consistent answers outside of Betts in the outfield. Trayce Thompson has been a bit lackluster while Gavin Lux has been hot but also has the ability to play just about every position on the field, so he can move around and remain in the lineup.

It’s been a run of big-time success for the Dodgers as they’ve assembled a proverbial superteam, but what’s a superteam without adding more superstar power to it? You can never discount the Dodgers’ desire to create a monopoly of great hitters, especially if it would mean blocking teams like the Giants and Padres from adding a player of Soto’s caliber.
