2. New Orleans Saints QB Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston, 28, is another former Pro Bowler and offensive star that missed significant time last season with an injury. Winston appeared in seven games, even less than Derrick Henry, and looked sharp before leaving the team’s Week 8 matchup against the Buccaneers.

The next day, it was revealed that Winston suffered a torn ACL and had MCL damage as well and was deemed out for the year. Before his injury, Winston had a 59.0 completion percentage, which was down from his past efforts but still respectable and had 14 touchdowns against just three interceptions.

The Saints are set to have Winston, Michael Thomas and hopefully Alvin Kamara (assuming he doesn’t receive serious punishment as a result of his ongoing felony assault case) hit the field together to form one of the best offensive lineups in the league.

Paired with newly-acquired acquisitions Jarvis Landry and No. 11 pick Chris Olave, Winston is being given every opportunity to succeed upon his return to action in the upcoming season as he hopes to build off of the promising start we saw out of him last year.
