Yes, Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin signed a mustard bottle at SEC Media Days, alright.

Confused as all hell, Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin actually signed a Publix mustard bottle presented to him by an LSU fan during SEC Media Days on Monday.

In the last year, we have seen two SEC head coaches become synonymous with condiments. South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer is to mayo baths as Kiffin is to dodging mustard bottles, golfballs and whatnot in Knoxville. So while there may not be any Publix Supermarkets in Baton Rouge, they are very prevalent in Atlanta where SEC Media Days are being held this week.

Lane Kiffin is the best thing to ever happen to college football, and you cannot tell me otherwise.

Behold! The second most important bottle of mustard to have ever graced this fine earth.

The only one that supersedes it is the one that met its sad demise on the Neyland Stadium turf.

Coming in third is the jar Dirty Mike and the Boys had some fun with in the back of a Toyota Prius.

Lane Kiffin signs bottle of mustard at SEC Media Days because, of course, he did

The Legend of Joey Freshwater continues to grow by the nanosecond. Kiffin showed up to SEC Media Days with a nice tan and a fresh pair of kicks to boot. And I mean, why would he not? The man just led the Rebels to a double-digit win season in his second year on the job. So what if they lost Matt Corral to the NFL? Ole Miss just went to the Sugar Bowl, and they now have Jaxson Dart.

Ultimately, this is the type of shenanigans to best encapsulate why SEC football is, and always will be king. It just means more, or it just beans more after Bush’s secured a sweet sponsorship with the league to start the week off right in Atlanta. For now, Kiffin might be signing as many bottles of mustard as he does footballs these days. Let’s not forget about Kiffin signing golfballs either…

It is only a matter of time before Kiffin and Ole Miss football land a golden mustard sponsorship.
