Georgia football starting quarterback Stetson Bennett IV no longer rocks the ole flip phone.

After helping the Georgia football program win its first national championship in 41 years, starting quarterback Stetson Bennett IV finally upgraded his phone.

“The Mailman” said goodbye to the T9 world forever in favor of the iPhone. Whether it was the unforgettable appearance the morning after on Good Morning America, or all that NIL money he cashed in on at Raising Canes, Bennett has no doubt gone Hollywood with his newfangled cellular device. It is only a matter of time before Timothée Chalamet plays him in their upcoming biopic…

We can only hope he is paying $33.18 a month for two years to cover the cost of his new iPhone.

Georgia football starting QB Stetson Bennett IV done broke up with his flip phone

From Andrew Luck to Jerry Jones, the flip phone had a place in the 2010s NFL world, alright. While it remains to be seen if Bennett will get an opportunity to play for one of its 32 franchises, ditching the flip phone is cutting edge. Holding onto outdated technology is the reason Luck retired before he turned 30 and the Dallas Cowboys have not win a Super Bowl since the Clinton Administration.

Even after losing a record-setting 15 players to the 2022 NFL Draft, Georgia should be favored in every game it plays during the regular season. Though the Dawgs may not beat the rival Alabama Crimson Tide in Atlanta in December 2022 should be seen as College Football Playoff or bust for this Georgia squad. Expect for Bennett to be in full control of Todd Monken’s offense this season.

While Georgia lost most of its talent on the defensive side of the ball, the Dawgs should be an even better offensive team this year. Bennett is the unquestioned starter. He has a full stable of running backs to hand the ball off to. The offensive line is good as always. Though there may be questions at wide receiver to some degree, there are no issues at all with the tight end position.

Since he is a big deal in Dawg Nation, it is important to have Bennett as part of these group texts.
