Colorado Rockies 1B C.J. Cron

C.J. Cron has been one of the hitters in the sport this season, and like Happ and Cooper, he was an All-Star for the first time this season.

For the Colorado Rockies this year, he has played in 90 games and has a .298 batting average (10th in the NL), a .350 on-base percentage, and a .552 slugging percentage (4th in the NL). He also has 21 home runs (5th in the NL), 21 doubles (9th in the NL), and 103 hits (6th in the NL).

Defensively, he only plays first base, but he has been one of the better defenders at the spot this year. He has 5 Defensive Runs Saved, which is the third-highest among all first basemen this season. If the White Sox got him, it would be a similar situation as described with Cooper, but Cron would likely get a bit more playing time at first base because of his defense.

The Rockies gave him a two-year, $14.5 million deal this past offseason so he could be with the team next season on a team-friendly deal.

Next. 3 prospects the White Sox would have to sell in any Juan Soto trade. dark
