No. 1: Denver Broncos

Here we go again with the Chicago to Denver pipeline. First Kyle Fuller, and now Roquan Smith? It might not be such a bad idea. After all, the Broncos are in win-now mode after making the deal for Russell Wilson and have many offensive weapons and defensive players that can make plays. So, to add the final piece to the puzzle, they can go for Roquan Smith and put the finishing touches on what they believe is a championship roster.

But here’s the catch, they will have to give up something to secure Smith’s services while also paying his contract. So, what can the Broncos give up here? Again, a 2023 third-round pick will be a starting point, given how Denver doesn’t pick in the first and second rounds. As for adding a player, they may have to give up a notable name to Chicago, cornerback Michael Ojemudia.

With the Bears likely to let Kyler Gordon operate in the nickel back role and let him play outside, they can take Ojemudia from Denver and let Gordon move inside where he feels more comfortable, allowing Ojemudia to operate alongside Jaylon Johnson on the outside. It would not be wrong if this deal were to go down. The extra pick is really what matters, however.
