Scott Frost will never be as good as Bo Pelini was as the Nebraska football team’s head coach.

Nebraska football fans are forever Chasing Pelini, as Scott Frost will always be less than Bo.

Though Silent Bob voiced his regrets over how things ended with Amy while sharing a diner booth with Jay and Ben Affleck somewhere in New Jersey, Cornhuskers haven’t craved Bo Pelini this badly since watching Better Caul Saul over a delicious Jerry Gergich Cinnabon. Onside kicks and other overseas shenanigans mean this Irish jig is probably up for Frost by maybe early October.

Never has a 67-27 mark over seven years looked as great when compared to 15-30 over five-ish.

Per math, Frost could win 50 straight games and still have a worse Nebraska record than Pelini.

Nebraska may never get back to the glory days, but Frost is living on borrowed time in Lincoln.

We are about a decade removed from Pelini and all his coaching greatness in Lincoln. 9-3 became synonymous with his Nebraska coaching run. When that was no longer good enough, the Cornhuskers never recovered. In fact, it has been the inverse of the Pelini era under Frost, where 3-9 is their benchmark in the Upside Down. No Master of Puppets will save you from this Vecna.

Of all the things that have gone badly for Nebraska since firing Frank Solich, nobody in their right mind could have foreseen Cornhuskers football being this vomit-inducing putrid under Frost. The former Huskers quarterback was an offensive guru at Oregon before going undefeated at UCF. He won almost as many games in his final year in Orlando when compared to this Nebraska disaster.

So what is Trev Alberts to do? The former Nebraska star linebacker should probably wait until it becomes apparent the Cornhuskers aren’t going bowling once again under Frost before making the move. Nebraska may be one of the hardest jobs in the country, but the Huskers have loyal, passionate fans, as well as NIL working in its favor now. They can find a new savior by December.

The pressure has clearly gotten to Frost and he is about to pop because he ain’t no Bo Pelini, bro.
