Gardner spoke to Josh Edwards of CBS Sports about the partnership.
“Our partnership was meant to be,” Gardner said. “It is natural. I have my sauce, it is a smoky, sweet and spicy barbecue. It has its own personality, just like me. We go hand in hand. I just appreciate them giving me the opportunity to partner with them. I am looking forward to it. I think I am the only person with my own sauce. The fact that it is able to be called ‘Sauce Sauce,’ it really is my sauce. It is just a blessing, man.”
On Aug. 31, Buffalo Wild Wings will hold a “Signed with Sauce” event in New Jersey. At the event, Gardner will sign items with sauce.

The Jets selected Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner with the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. In college, Gardner played 33 games for Cincinnati, and he did not allow a single touchdown in pass coverage.
That success translated into the preseason. Gardner played 35 total snaps, and he was not targeted once in coverage per PFF.
