Rams don’t seem like they’re letting Odell Beckham Jr. sign anywhere else

The Los Angeles Rams still have an open locker for Odell Beckham Jr., despite the fact that he is a free agent.
The Los Angeles Rams begin their Super Bowl title defense on Thursday, Sept. 8, as they host the Buffalo Bills in the NFL’s 2022 season-opener. There has been some turnover on the roster, with new faces like linebacker Bobby Wagner and wide receiver Allen Robinson joining the Rams in the offseason. But do the Rams have their eyes on getting one key player from the 2021 roster back?
According to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, the Rams have a full locker open for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., which includes his own nameplate, at the team’s facility. Beckham is currently a free agent.
Rams have locker open for Odell Beckham Jr.
Beckham is still a free agent due to the fact that he is still recovering from a torn ACL suffered in the first half of Super Bowl 56.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport noted in early August that Beckham is not expected to be ready for at least the first half of the 2022 season. Yet, Rapoport did say that the team maintained contact with Beckham.
At the midway point last season, Beckham was waived by the Cleveland Browns and cleared, allowing him to sign wherever he wanted. Beckham chose the Rams, signing a contract for the remainder of the season.
In the regular-season, Beckham recorded 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns on 48 receptions. Once the playoffs began, Beckham was nearly unstoppable when targeted by quarterback Matthew Stafford, as evidenced by his 21 receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns on 26 targets. His choice to join the team paid off, as he won his first Super Bowl title after they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.
Whatever Beckham decides to do this season, there is a locker waiting for him in Los Angeles by his former team.
