The NFL season is officially here, which means millions of DraftKings lineups will be played this weekend. Here’s a lineup you need to play in Week 1.

Daily fantasy lineups have become a popular alternative to traditional fantasy football. With DraftKings, you can create multiple lineups a week and enter them into different contests. It’s a fun way to root for many different players while also having a chance to win money.

For our Week 1 lineup, we were able to find solid value while nabbing some elite players to go along with it. Let’s take a look.

Best DraftKings lineup for Week 1

Quarterback: Trey Lance, San Francisco 49ers ($6,000)

Jimmy G or no Jimmy G, Trey Lance is the starter for the 49ers. The topic that has been debated all summer will finally be put to the test this week when Lance takes the field as the 49ers starter. He couldn’t have gotten a better matchup in the Chicago Bears, who gave up the 13th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks last season.

Lance’s rushing ability, and weapons such as Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, make him an intriguing option every week (assuming he’s the starter). I love Lance’s value this week at only $6,000. This will allow us to grab a quarterback with top-five upside at a low cost, while building our lineup with solid players.
