5. Amani Hooker swoops in and flies in the face of Giants

If there was a posterizing moment in Week 1, this was probably it.

It’s not often that NFL players can even get that kind of vertical leap for an NBA-style snapshot. But swooping in for an interception and baffling the intended receiver isn’t so different from dunking on someone in hoops. And if anyone dunked this Sunday, it was Amani Hooker standing over Saquon Barkley in mid-air.

Barkley’s body language says it all. These moments happen lightning-fast in real time, but in that split second, Barkley’s hands are flailing as he appears bewildered. Hooker has impeccable form, pulling a herkie, balancing his legs as he secures the rock.

Everyone saw this beauty, but not everyone was as enamored with it. Brian Daboll was seen taking Daniel Jones to task on the bench, but then the Titans fumbled away their chance when they too missed a Week 1 field goal.

The Titans may have lost, but Hooker definitely won.
