Oklahoma Sooners fans were hyped after watching them defeat the Nebraska Cornhuskers 49-14 on Sept. 17.

The Oklahoma Sooners rose up to the No. 6 spot in the AP Top 25 list entering Week 3. They rose one spot following their win over Kent State last week, and Texas A&M’s upset loss to Appalachian State. The Sooners went on the road for the first time this season, taking on a Nebraska Cornhuskers team that fired head coach Scott Frost earlier in the week.

New coach for Nebraska? No problem for Oklahoma, as they cruised to a 49-14 victory over Nebraska and interim head coach Mickey Joseph to be a perfect 3-0 on the season. The game was competitive in the beginning, reaching a 7-7 tie. However, the Sooners broke away from them soon after and turned into a blowout.
