Wild Bill getting wild in October will be everything Braves Country could hope for

While Grossman checks the box of an outfielder coming over by way of a trade with something to prove, he is not the one-of-a-kind personality of Pederson. Grossman can continue to have great success in a Braves uniform, potentially in October, but it is more likely to be in the vein of Rosario and Soler than say the bad man in a pearl necklace. But what about Wild Bill William Contreras?

Wild Bill getting wild has been one of the best parts of the season. His bat has been too good to keep him riding pine for very long. Contreras is part of the best backstop tandem in baseball with Travis d’Arnaud. Although Contreras made the NL All-Star team as a DH, mostly because Bryce Harper was unable to participate, he is the perfect player for what the Braves need this October.

The Narco War between the Braves and the New York Mets has been nothing short of amazing. Contreras uses the same walk-up song as Edwin Diaz has coming out of the bullpen. Obviously, Mets fans cannot handle people liking the same music, well, because they chose to root for the Mets in the first place. Regardless, Wild Bill can get wild, as the trumpets blare across Truist Park.

There is a certain level of greatness and pettiness that could transform Wild Bill an October hero.
