Ahead of the Week 3 matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers, Tom Brady heaped praise on the “amazing” Aaron Rodgers.

One of the biggest games of Week 3 is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Green Bay Packers. This will be the first time that the two teams have met since the NFC Championship Game in 2020, when the Buccaneers held on to advance to Super Bowl 55, which they won in convincing fashion. This game is a must-watch, as it could be the final time that quarterbacks Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers face off.

Ahead of the game on Sunday afternoon, Brady heaped praise on Rodgers, who he called “an amazing player,” that he loves watching him play. You can listen to Brady’s full comments in The Athletic’s Greg Auman’s tweet below.

This will be the fifth time that both Rodgers and Brady will face off against one another on an NFL field. The previous four times, Brady has won three of them, with the most notable being the aforementioned NFC title game, where they withstood a comeback attempt by the Packers to win 31-26.

This meeting between the two will be interesting. While Rodgers has won the NFL MVP award in the past two seasons, he has a vastly different wide receiver corps with the subtraction of Davante Adams and the addition of rookies Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Toure.

Meanwhile, Brady will be without star wide receiver Mike Evans, who was suspended for shoving New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore in their Week 2 meeting. Not only that, but wide receivers Chris Godwin and Julio Jones have not practiced in the lead up to Week 3.

This may very well be the final time that Rodgers and Brady face off in a head-to-head matchup. Brady returned form his one-month retirement this offseason, while Rodgers has spoken openly about potentially stepping away down the road. So, it may very well be worth
