5. Paxton Aaronson (Philadelphia Union)

The Philadelphia Union academy is one of the most admired in the country. It is heavily relied upon by the first team who look to promote youth regularly and are often one of the lowest-spending sides in the league on transfer fees.

Brendan Aaronson has been a perfect example of the quality of players coming through, having recently signed for Leeds United in the Premier League and looking set to play for the USMNT in the World Cup.

Younger brother Paxton is looking to follow in his footsteps and the creative attacking midfielder has been performing well in MLS as well as for the USMNT U20 side where he has eight goals in 11 games.

Aaronson is technically gifted and hard-working. He is a creative presence in the team with an incredible ability to progress the ball forward. He finds space well, and carries the ball under pressure, while also timing his movements into the box well to be a goal threat.

There is a lot of excitement around Paxton who is seen as the more technically gifted of the brothers and expectation is high for the 19-year-old.
