2023 NFL mock draft: Atlanta Falcons get their franchise QB at No. 1 overall
By Brad Weiss
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are out to a 2-0 start this season and are doing it despite being ravaged by injuries. Still, they have Tom Brady, and as long as he is one of the premier quarterbacks in the NFL, the wins are going to continue to come.
Looking at the 2023 NFL Draft, the Bucs may be in the market for some offensive talent, but LSU linebacker BJ Ojulari is too good to pass on. Ojulari is one of the best linebackers in the country, and teaming him with Devin White would give Tampa Bay an elite duo at the position for years to come.
The Kansas City Chiefs remain one of the best teams in the NFL, and Patrick Mahomes is out to another outstanding start. This kid just does not lose in September, and he already has a divisional win under his belt after beating Los Angeles last Thursday night.
After trading away Tyreek Hill, Kansas City needs help at the wideout spot, and they get a budding young star in Quentin Johnston from TCU here. Johnston could be the next elite wideout for the Chiefs, and catching balls from Mahomes, he will have every chance to develop into a star.
