After time ran out on the Buffalo Bills in the team’s Week 3 game against the Miami Dolphins, offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey lost his mind.

The Buffalo Bills have completely dominated through the first two weeks of the season, disposing of the Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans with relative ease. But they faced their first true test of the season in the form of the rival Miami Dolphins.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Dolphins had to punt the ball back to the Bills following a safety after a failed punt. With a 21-19 deficit, Buffalo’s offense worked their way closer and closer to field goal range. But on second-and-20 with 18 seconds remaining in the game, quarterback Josh Allen completed a 12-yard pass to wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie. The problem is, McKenzie was tackled in bounds, and the game clock struck zero right before the Bills were able to spike the ball.

The CBS cameras cut into Buffalo’s coaches box, and offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey was absolutely livid. That was evident as he slammed his notebook and eventually threw it.

Note the hand that tried to block out the camera feed. That attempt was a bit too late. Well, no, it was actually a lot late. But the effort was there!

Dorsey took over as offensive coordinator after Brian Daboll was hired to be the head coach of the New York Giants. Previously, Dorsey served as the team’s quarterbacks coach since 2019.

Buffalo’s offense was actually efficient, as they out-gained Miami 497 yards to 212. Not to mention that they were 11-for-19 on third-down conversions. The issue was the team was 2-for-4 in the red zone, as opposed to Miami going 3-for-3.

The Bills were oh-so close to potentially winning the game, but the clock just ran out on them.
