Houston Rockets: Eric Gordon, 6 years
In the summer of 2016, the Rockets signed then-free-agent Eric Gordon to a four-year deal. The Rockets were coming off a disappointing 41-41 season, but Rockets GM Daryl Morey added Gordon along with Ryan Anderson and new head coach Mike D’Antonio, and the space city Rockets were born, winning 55 games and then an NBA-leading and franchise-record 65 games in 2017-18. (The Rockets have won 37 games in the most recent two seasons combined.)
Gordon signed a contract extension before the 2019-20 season and currently has two years left on the deal.
