Running back sleepers for fantasy football Week 5: Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

When Bucs’ Offensive Coordinator Byron Leftwich told us he’d involve rookie Rachaad White more, he wasn’t lying. White played easily the most snaps he has this year, and touched the ball eight times for a total of 56 yards and a touchdown. More importantly, five of those were receptions. If you can gain Tom Brady’s trust in the passing game as a running back, amazing things can happen.

Look for White to expand on his impressive Week 4 performance in a solid matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, who have given up the 12th-most rushing yards so far this year. Even while splitting work, White can be productive.

Running back sleepers for fantasy football Week 5: J.D. McKissic, Washington Commanders

We touched on Brian Robinson’s upside, but it’s hard to deny the usage that J.D. McKissic has been getting this season. He and Antonio Gibson have essentially split snaps this season, but McKissic has been the clear passing game option, and that may remain the case even if Robinson starts.

McKissic has shaped up to be a decent-floor PPR running back who is guaranteed several catches a game. You could do worse than him this week if you’re desperate at the flex position.
