Watch these Toyota of Seattle employees celebrate their beloved Seattle Mariners advance past the Toronto Blue Jays in their AL Wild Card Series.

The Seattle Mariners pulled off a comeback for the ages to advance past the Toronto Blue Jays in their best-of-three AL Wild Card Series.

After taking Game 1 in Toronto, Seattle found itself down 8-1 to the Blue Jays in a must-win game for the home team. The monumental collapse came about in part to George Springer colliding with Bo Bichette on a fly ball late in the ballgame. Seattle would overcome the seven-run deficit to win Game 2 10-9 to advance to the ALDS. They will face the division rival Houston Astros on Tuesday.

A playoff series some 21 years in the making, just watch these Toyota of Seattle employees celebrate this incredible series victory after it was caught on security camera. Do yourself a favor and watch the entire thing. It gets better with each passing moment. You will not be disappointed.

Toyota of Seattle security camera catches employees celebrating Mariners’ win

Not since the 2001 Mariners squandered away a historic season to the New York Yankees in the ALCS has Seattle experienced postseason baseball. Although the Mariners did not win the division, they were the No. 5 seed in the AL. This pitted them in a best-of-three road series at the Blue Jays with the winner going on to face the No. 1-seeded and World Series favorite Houston in the ALDS.

You see one Toyota of Seattle employee hopping around in a No. 51 Ichiro Suzuki jersey. Keep in mind that 2001 was the future hall of famer’s rookie season coming over from Japan. He won AL Rookie of the Year that season, as well as AL MVP. This stands as a testament to how long it has truly been since Seattle experienced meaningful October postseason baseball in all of its splendor.

After seeing the Mariners actually pull off the comeback, the three employees put their arms around each other and danced in a circle like the Mariners have done this season to celebrate victories. To make this even better, a fourth person comes skipping into the frame from off-camera and joins the celebration. It was a special moment none of the employees will ever forget.

If Seattle really wants to do this right, all four employees should be at T-Mobile Park for Game 3.
