The Green Bay Packers need to get Aaron Rodgers more weapons, for his own sake. The ayahuasca retreat can wait.

Rodgers and the Packers are 3-3 on the season, fresh off a loss to the New York Jets at Lambeau Field. They’re two games behind the Minnesota Vikings for first place in the NFC North.

Replacing Davante Adams is only one of Green Bay’s concerns, but it’s arguably the greatest that Brian Gutekunst must answer for at the trade deadline. That deadline is Nov. 1, for those unaware.

Luckily for the Pack, there are plenty of wide receivers available on the market. Odell Beckham Jr. remains an option in free agency, but if the Packers are unsure about his injury recovery, a trade might better suit them.

Packers trade rumors: Elijah Moore

Elijah Moore was unhappy with the number of targets which went his way in the Jets win over the Packers last Sunday. In a tweet to fans, Moore expressed that he didn’t understand how he was being utilized, either. Follow up that building frustration with the ‘personal day’ Moore took on Wednesday from practice, and it’s clear something has to change.

Moore’s representatives have demanded a trade out of New York. He’s the second Jets wide receiver to do so this year, joining Denzel Mims. Yet, the Jets don’t seem intent on dealing him.

The Packers would be wise to call New York soon about Moore’s availability, as the Ole Miss product has plenty of potential. The Jets have a good culture and don’t want one player — in this case Moore — to rise above the team and perhaps set a bad example.

Moore is in just his second season, and has 203 receiving yards on the year.
