3. RB D’Onta Foreman, Carolina Panthers

Rostered: 35.3%

Foreman surprisingly led the Panthers in carries (15) and rushing yards (118) against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Foreman also had two receptions for 27 yards. The 145 scrimmage yards set a new career high for Foreman.

Last week, the Panthers traded All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers. With McCaffrey gone, Foreman and Chuba Hubbard should see plenty of touches. Hubbard, who was a fourth-round pick in 2021, was expected to be the lead back. He had nine carries for 63 yards and a touchdown on Sunday.

Foreman is not guaranteed to maintain this level of touches, but if he does, he will have immense value in fantasy football leagues. He is a high upside stash in most leagues. He also has appeal as a potential FLEX option this week against the Atlanta Falcons.
