2023 NFL Mock Draft: Could QBs go 1-2-3 in the first round?

Miami Dolphins. Joey Porter Jr.. 11. player. 59. . CB

The Miami Dolphins came away with a strong victory against Pittsburgh this past weekend and now find themselves as a team to beat in the AFC. A healthy Tua Tagovailoa has shown he can get the job done, so picking at No. 11 overall, the Dolphins can focus on the defensive side of the ball.

The secondary in Miami has been an issue at times this season, so going cornerback here at No. 11 makes a lot of sense. There are strong cornerback prospects in this draft class, but in Joey Porter Jr., they get an NFL legacy that could end up being the best of the bunch.

. CB. Arizona Cardinals. Kelee Ringo. 12. player. 32

It has been a strange season for the Arizona Cardinals, who just have not been able to play consistent football throughout. However, they are coming off a victory against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night football, and the 42 points were quite impressive.

Looking ahead, there are going to be changes in the desert, as their roster is aging, and they need to inject some youth into the defensive backfield. Kelee Ringo is a player who could be the first cornerback off the board in April, and at No. 12, he becomes an instant starter for the Cardinals.
