Fantasy football waiver wire replacements for Ja’Marr Chase: 1. Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants

Robinson returned to action in Week 6, and he was productive in limited snaps (three catches for 37 yards and a touchdown). Then in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he had six catches for 50 yards, on eight targets, as he played a lot more (53 of 76 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus).

Be aware of a Week 9 bye for the Giants. But around that Robinson gets nice matchups against the Seattle Seahawks (Week 8), Houston Texans (Week 10) and Detroit Lions (Week 11). Matchups against the Dallas Cowboys (Week 12) and Philadelphia Eagles (Week 14) are tougher, but they are each followed by favorable matchups against the Washington Commanders (Week 13 and Week 15).

Robinson has become the Giants’ No. 1 wide receiver, and the team has removed a potential looming threat to his target volume by trading Kadarius Toney to the Kansas City Chiefs. Rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger (eye/nose) is also going to be out a little while.

The Giants are not a high-volume passing offense. But Robinson is an unquestioned top target for Daniel Jones, and inarguably the second-best skill player on the team behind Saquon Barkley. As Chase managers look for anything resembling what they’ve lost, the rookie out of Kentucky takes the top spot on this list pretty easily
