Notre Dame star Brandon Joseph trolled Syracuse running back Sean Tucker after their 42-24 win in Week 9.

The Syracuse Orange suffered their first loss of the season last week at the hands of the Clemson Tigers, blowing a 21-7 lead to ultimately lose 27-21. They had the chance to get back in the win column in Week 9, as they hosted the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Syracuse now has a losing streak going, as they fell to Notre Dame by the score of 41-27. The Orange did not hold a lead throughout the entirety of the game.

After the game, Notre Dame star safety Brandon Joseph trolled Syracuse and their running back Sean Tucker.

For those unaware, Tucker would include “#PL34SED” in every one of his postgame tweets. Hence why Joseph tweeted out, “Today we defeated Syracuse and I am #PL34SED with my performance.”

Joseph made an impact very early in the game. By that, we mean on the first play. Syracuse quarterback Garrett Schrader attempted a pass, and Joseph picked it off, returning it for a 29-yard touchdown. Just like that, the Fighting Irish had an early 7-0 lead.

In the game, Joseph recorded two combined tackles, along with the interception returned for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Tucker ran for 60 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. That touchdown took place late in the third quarter on a four-yard run to cut Syracuse’s deficit to 24-17. Tucker also caught four passes for 32 yards.

Notre Dame will now look to build off of this win over Syracuse next week, when they take on Clemson.
