Bo Nix proves he still has some classic Bo Nix left in him (Video)

Bo Nix scared Oregon Ducks fans with a dangerous throw in the team’s Week 10 game against the Colorado Buffaloes.
In his first year as head coach of the Oregon Ducks, Dan Lanning decided to utilize the transfer portal to find his starting quarterback. Lanning ultimately chose Bo Nix, who had an up-and-down tenure with the Auburn Tigers. So far with the Ducks, Nix is having a tremendous first season, enough so that he is getting some Heisman love.
But during Oregon’s Week 10 game against the Colorado Buffaloes, Nix showed off a play that absolutely terrified the fan base. On a fourth-and-goal in the third quarter, Nix scrambled to the left side of the field, spun around after sensing defensive pressure, then threw the football over his shoulder, which fell incomplete.
Bo Nix scares Oregon fans with this throw vs. Colorado
This was an extremely dangerous throw for Nix. However, he was lucky that the ball fell to the ground and that there were no Colorado defenders nearby.
While that pass was a head-scratcher, Nix was on point against the one-win Buffaloes. In fact, Nix pulled a Christian McCaffrey on Saturday, as he recorded a passing, a rushing, and a receiving touchdown in the game, much like the San Francisco 49ers running back did last week against the Los Angeles Rams.
Nix had 24 pass attempts in the game, and he missed just four of them. So, those are 20 completions for 274 yards and two touchdowns. Add that to 16 rushing yards and two touchdowns on nine carries, and one 18-yard touchdown reception.
What a day for the Ducks quarterback, as he has recorded five total touchdowns for the third consecutive game.
Nix will look to have another strong performance next week when they take on the Washington Huskies.
