Vikings WR Justin Jefferson delivered arguably the most incredible catch the NFL has ever seen with a fourth-down grab that defied gravity vs. the Bills.

Move over Odell Beckham Jr. There’s a new sheriff in town and he just submitted his application for the most impressive catch in NFL history.

Justin Jefferson pulled off the seemingly impossible late against the Bills on Sunday. Facing a fourth-and-18 with two minutes to play, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins lofted a hopeful ball in Jefferson’s direction but it was covered and the chances of the receiver actually bringing it down looked minuscule.

Yet somehow, someway, Jefferson got his hands on the ball, wrestled it away from the defender and then kept it off the ground with one hand to complete the catch.

It doesn’t matter what angle you look at, it’s a jaw-dropping play.

Jefferson has been outstanding since he entered the league. On Sunday, he managed to take his game up another level to god-like.

NFL Twitter grappled with the idea that Jefferson’s catch was the best ever.

Jefferson’s catch kept the Vikings alive but it was far from the only wild thing to happen at the end of that game.

The Vikings failed to punch in the ball from the goal line and turned it over on down to Buffalo. Then the Bills botched the snap when their drive started at the one-yard line and the Minnesota defense recovered for an improbably go-ahead touchdown.

Josh Allen had his say with 39 seconds remaining, leading the Bills down the field to set up a game-tying field goal.

In overtime, Jefferson was the star over and over as Minnesota drove down the field but they again couldn’t finish a drive with a touchdown and had to settle for a field goal.
