Former NFL receiver Antonio Brown has reignited his bizarre feud with Tom Brady, sharing text messages of the Bucs QB calling out his behavior over the last few months.

On the surface, the ongoing divorce drama between NFL quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel entrepreneur Giselle Bündchen has been about the dissolution of their decade-plus marriage. the discourse has been gross, the rumors are tabloid fodder,

It has also bizarrely involved a third wheel.

Former Buccaneers receiver Antonio Brown has taken it upon himself to constantly try to make Brady and Giselle’s divorce about himself. From posting memes that made fun of Brady and Giselle’s children to posting crude comments about the faithfulness of the couple, Brown has been involving himself every step of the way.

While publically staying silent, it appears Brady privately reached a breaking point with his former teammate over a year ago.

Brady allegedly texted Brown to call him out for his behavior over the last few months. Brown shared a screenshot of the text message to his Snapchat account.

“When I met you, you were humble, willing to learn and anxious to improve things in your life. In a short period of time, you have done those things and accomplished some great things. And very much on the path to success long term. Unfortunately, you have reverted very much back to a young immature man that is selfish, self serving, irrational and irresponsible. I for one, am disappointed in many behaviors over the past few months,” the text from Brady stated.

To be clear, we don’t know for sure if this text is actually from Brady and have to take Brown’s word for it. The screenshot appears to be from someone Brown has in his contacts as ‘TOM BRADY’, but it could honestly be from anyone.

Given Brown’s increasingly bizarre and dishonest behavior, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that he’s trying to insert himself back into the mainstream narrative by drumming up a fake Brady text.

The text does appear to be from March 2021, which was not long after the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl with Brown and a few months before his infamous implosion in which he walked out on Brady in the middle of a game.

Not for nothing, but if this really is from Brady then the dreaded green screenname that every iPhone user loathes to see means the Bucs quarterback is an Android user.

That being said, Brady calling out Brown seems less like a reaction to personally being offended and more about him trying to once again look out for his teammate and friend. Why Brown is just now sharing this message is unclear, although it’s not hard to draw a line to him wanting to use Brady to step back into the spotlight after being out of it longer than he’d like.
