The Acclaimed, the AEW World Tag Team champions trolled Swerve in Our Glory with a Waterboy reference.

Max Caster and Anthony Bowens, the tag team known as the Acclaimed, are two of the popular talents in All Elite Wrestling. Last September, the Acclaimed defeated Swerve in Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland) to win the AEW World Tag Team championships in their second bout at Grand Slam. Now, they are set to compete in their third match together for the titles at the Full Gear pay-per-view event on Saturday, Nov. 19.

On the Nov. 16 episode of Dynamite, Bowens was scheduled to take on Strickland in singles action. Ahead of the match, the Acclaimed debuted their new music video, which was made at the expense of Swerve in Our Glory.

The Acclaimed got some help in their diss track with none other than Paul Wight, formerly known as the Big Show. But Wight was portraying his role of Captain Insano in the 1998 Adam Sandler film, the Waterboy.

Captain Insano shows no mercy. Swerve in Our Glory learned just that.

The rivalry began between the Acclaimed and Swerve in Our Glory in the lead up to All Out. At the event, the Chicago crowd was firmly behind the Acclaimed, who ended up losing to the then-champions.

At Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queen, N.Y., the Acclaimed got the victory in their rematch to win the titles, with a little help from Billy Gunn.

This Saturday, the Acclaimed look to retain their championships, while Swerve in Our Glory plan on becoming two-time tag title holders. Full Gear takes place on Saturday, Nov. 19 live from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
