These three NFL quarterbacks did themselves no favors with how they played in the Sunday slate of Week 11.

Week 11 of the season started off with the Tennessee Titans defeating the Green Bay Packers 27-17, which saw quarterbacks Ryan Tannehill and Aaron Rodgers have solid games. Surely there would be some even better performances through the Sunday slate of games, right?

Well, there were some good showings from the likes of Jacoby Brissett of the Cleveland Browns and Andy Dalton of the New Orleans Saints. Brissett threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns in Cleveland’s 31-23 loss to the Buffalo Bills, while Dalton recorded 260 passing yards and three passing touchdowns in New Orleans’ 27-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Yet, there were some really bad quarterback performances in Week 11. Here are three who played like they deserved to be benched after this week.

3. Baker Mayfield, Panthers

The Baker Mayfield experiment in Carolina just isn’t working. He had found himself on the sidelines after the first five games of the season when suffering a high ankle sprain. Upon his return, he backed up P.J. Walker, who played relatively well for the Panthers against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7 and the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8. Outside of those games, Walker wasn’t that impressive.

Mayfield returned to the field last week when Walker left with an high ankle sprain. He received his first start since Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens in Sunday.

Carolina’s offense could only muster three points on Sunday afternoon. They did manage to hold Baltimore to three points, up until midway through the fourth quarter when Justin Tucker kicked a 37-yard field goal and quarterback Lamar Jackson ran for a one-yard touchdown.

The final two drives for the Panthers ended the exact same way — with Mayfield throwing interceptions.

Mayfield completed 21-of-33 pass attempts for 196 yards in the 13-3 loss.

It may only be a matter of time when Sam Darnold takes over as starter before the end of the season.
