AFC East – New York Jets

The Jets just barely lost 10-3 against the Patriots in Week 11, and because they lost, they’re tied as the last place team in the AFC East. However, the abilities of each team appeared to be the same in quite possibly the least exciting Week 11 game (until the last few moments).

Just like the Patriots, they have some very obvious issues with their offense. Both teams have dominant defenses, and that showed as the game was held 3-3 until Marcus Jones ran a massive touchdown right at the end of the fourth quarter.

The AFC East is certainly a competitive division, but if the Bills or Dolphins slip up in an upcoming week where the Jets don’t, the entire division will look completely different as the Bills and Dolphins are only slightly ahead at 7-3. Being tied for last in the AFC East isn’t a loss when the Jets are currently sitting at .600.

They have talent that they can work with, it’ll just depend on if they can continue to win and how well the Bills and Dolphins do in the final weeks of the season.

However, there’s a very realistic chance of them ending up on top, which would be extremely surprising to most considering they’ve been notoriously bad for several season and have only finished above .400 once since the 2015-2016 season.
