In what figures to be a top game of the week, the Dallas Cowboys travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings in an NFC battle.

Coming off of one of the best games of the last five years (an overtime win over the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park, NY), it doesn’t exactly get easier for the Minnesota Vikings, who will need to take on one of the many good teams of the NFC East to further prove their campaign as one of the best in not only the NFC, but also the NFL.

After going 4-1 in their first five, the Dallas Cowboys have gone 2-2 in the last four and 2-1 since Dak Prescott returned under center.

Whichever team wins this game will have serious bragging rights in the NFC. If the Cowboys come out on top, it proves their early season magic wasn’t just dumb luck. If the Vikings keep their season going with just a “1” in the L column, it says a lot as they’ll be within one win of stacking up double-digits in the win column.

According to FiveThirtyEight’s model, the Vikings will go from a 41 percent chance at a first-round bye to a 55 percent chance with a win. A loss knocks them down to the mid-20s.

For the Cowboys a win would also mean a lot, taking their playoff chances from 93 to 98 percent.

CeeDee Lamb makes amazing catch to put Cowboys in field goal range, Maher nails from 60 yards

This was a bizarre situation. CeeDee Lamb made an incredible catch on the sidelines that put the Cowboys in-range for a very long field goal. Brett Maher barely got the ball in.

Then, the officials went back to review the Lamb reception despite the fact that a play had happened after the fact. Evidently, the officials were still reviewing the Lamb catch.

The Lamb catch was confirmed, and Maher had to come out and do it again. He nailed it the second time. Don’t doubt Maher.
