Best fantasy football pickups for Week 12: WR Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers

Rostered: 55.8%

In Week 10, Watson had a phenomenal three-touchdown performance against the Dallas Cowboys. He kept the momentum going last Thursday against the Tennessee Titans. He had four receptions for 48 yards and two touchdowns on six targets. Aaron Rodgers targeted Watson three times in the red zone.

Watson has given a much-needed boost to the Packers’ offense. Prior to Watson’s breakout game against the Cowboys, the Packers averaged 13.0 points per game in their previous two games. Watson, himself, has now scored five touchdowns across two games. As of Monday morning, he is second among wide receivers in fantasy points over the last two weeks. He has struggled with drops and miscues, but the Packers simply need playmakers. Watson is an explosive athlete. He ran a 4.36-second 40-yard at the NFL combine, and that speed has translated to the next level.

The Packers should continue to heavily utilize Watson. Given his recent red zone usage, he carries immense value in fantasy leagues. He is a must-start this week.
