In a surprising turn of events, undrafted rookie Zonovan Knight led the Jets’ backfield on Sunday with 14 carries for 69 yards. He also had three receptions for 34 yards. The 103 scrimmage yards were the most by any player in their NFL debut in franchise history.

James Robinson was a healthy scratch, while Michael Carter exited Sunday’s game with an ankle sprain. The severity of Carter’s injury is unknown, but even if he returns, Knight should still have value. The Jets like to deploy Carter in a complementary role. He has not played 75 percent of the team’s offensive snaps in a single game, this season. Prior to the injury, Knight and Carter were splitting carries, as well.

Knight is worth a flier.
