2. Trade Tobias Harris

Tobias Harris has always been an interesting piece of the 76ers roster. In 2019 he was traded from the Los Angeles Clippers with Boban Marjanović and Mike Scott, for Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, Landry Shamet and draft picks. The Sixers later signed him to a massive contract that he never quite lived up to, a contract that also made it challenging to deal.

Nevertheless, Harris has remained the fourth player on a team centrally focused on its core three. Rather than keep this piece of the roster that doesn’t quite fit, the Sixers should look to deal him. Unlike a Thybulle deal, Harris is still a strong player (for now). There’s a team out there who could use him. And the Sixers should look to trade him before his numbers begin to seriously decline for a role player who’d complement the big three better. That said, finding a team willing to take on his contract could prove challenging, but if Harris’s numbers remain intact, again there might be a team later in the season looking to make a push.
