Seattle is in a tight race to make the playoffs, and if it’s going to get there, the Seahawks have to beat teams like the Panthers.

The 49ers are a much better team. However, I’m not picking Brock Purdy to beat Tom Brady. Some things are just hard rules in life.

Pick: Tampa Bay 17, San Francisco 16

Expect a ton of points, a ton of big throws, and a few ridiculous mistakes that will cost the Chargers. After all, they’re the Chargers.

Monday, Dec. 12. 4-8. 6-6. ESPN. 32. NE -1.5. 8:15 p.m. ET. 47

This game will break all of us if we allow it to. Take Bill Belichick over Kliff Kingsbury and move on.
