The Dallas Cowboys have finally gone the majority of a recent season living up to the hype. Dak Prescott has gotten healthy and this team is ripe for a Super Bowl run.

At 10-3, Dallas is in prime position to not only get into the postseason but also not mathematically out of a first round bye, although that would be nothing short of incredible if it did happen.

Dak and these Boys have fans in Dallas thinking Lombardi by February.

But, in order to get there, the Cowboys have plenty of competition. In a season where we’ve seen much parity, Dallas definitely has their work cut out for them in the NFC.

Who the Cowboys should be most worried about in Super Bowl pursuit: The San Francisco 49ers

This season’s San Francisco 49ers are a special bunch. Most would have guessed that, if Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo were to both suffer season-ending injuries, the Niners would be done.

That’s been far from the case, due to the play of rookie seventh-round pick and “Mr. Irrelevant,” Brock Purdy. The rookie has been as good as you could ask for, but he’s also got one heck of a team around him.

The Niners are strong all over the field and on both sides. That deal for Christian McCaffrey may have put them over the top, though. McCaffrey has been a catalyst for this offense, especially since Garoppolo went out. He can do it all, and Kyle Shanahan has made that known.

Statistically, the Niners have the best defense in all of football. They have a consistent run game, which Shanahan will never divert from. To top it off, Shanahan knows how to get his guys open on offense. It doesn’t matter if he’s without his top two quarterbacks and (currently without) Deebo Samuel.

The Niners are as complete and consistent a team as you will find this season.
